A Professional Drummer and Bilingual Educator in Bristol

Hi! I'm Den -- a drummer with more than ten years of teaching and performing experience in Hong Kong, Germany, and now ,the UK. Before moving to Bristol, I have been engaging in band performances and session works in Hong Kong as well as giving bilingual lessons in several music schools. In 2018, I moved to Berlin to further my drumming skills under the guidance of the German groove master, Dirk Erchinger. There, I actively performed and attended masterclasses with drum legends such as Dom Famularo, Claus Hessler, Anika Nilles, and Mark Guiliana, etc. A year after, I finished my music education at the Institute of Contemporary Music and Performance (ICMP) in London. Currently based in Bristol, I now teach privately at my home and have been actively playing in a function band -- "Moon Rivers," that performs cover songs at wedding and business events. I am also a member of an original electro-swing band -- "Dirty Cash," in which we aim to perform in large festivals in the future.
